I think my time in Africa has sensitized me to the cold! I spent the last entire winter in a rather temperate climate. It was warm when I left and it was warm when I returned. Now it’s getting cold in Missouri, but not even that cold – it’s the 40 degree to 60 degree normal fall temperature here. But I’m pretty pitiful – I’m begging for blankets and coats and other layers to keep me warm! This is the first natural cold I’ve experienced in well over a year and a half. I don’t know how bad I will be once it freezes!
