colon cleanse

Does anyone know if there are really any benefits of colon cleanse? Other than if you think it feels good... seems to me just one more overpriced medical thing. I mean, if you enjoy that feeling, whatever, go for it. But I don't see any literal benefit from it. Maybe that is just me- but in my opinion it's just another something to sell on an infomercial.
