When I was younger, my family traveled a lot. We never had a van – we just crammed my sister and me into the backseat of a mid-size sedan along with all our luggage. Nowadays, though, more and more parents are buying minivans and SUVs for their kids. Personally I think those kids are spoiled! But if you do have a van, you can take lots more luggage with you. You can even attach a van rack and have luggage on top of the car.
