I must admit that, as of late, I have not really been a fan of Halloween. I do have lots of good childhood Halloween memories, though. Halloween was different back then – much less gory! The costumes at my class parties usually consisted of a lot of princesses (I was a princess one year!), maybe a few animals (I was a rabbit one year!), a few cowboys and sheriffs, maybe a Native American costume. The goriest outfits in a classroom would be maybe a Halloween Ninja or a few Halloween witches. Nowadays the goriest outfits have so much blood and general yuckiness. So if you want to back down to a ninja or princess outfit, I’m all for that.
