thunderstorms

I miss thunderstorms. I’m a true Midwesterner, and it’s been awhile since we’ve had a thunderstorm. I love sitting indoors and listening to the thunder boom outside, or watching the lightening outside the back door. Sometimes, when there is no lightening but the rain is pouring down in sheets, I like to step outside and just feel the rain pounding against my skin. According to the Weather Channel, we *might* get another thunderstorm in a week or so. Not nearly soon enough for me!
