For all the days of joy you brought me, for all the memories we made, for all the love we shared...
I will never forget you.
Sometime between three and seven AM this morning, Miami managed to get the cord from my DVD player into her cage. She only managed to chew partially through the cord before she left this world behind.
Goodbye, my beloved hammy.

Hi TidyBowl,
I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. I think sometimes that people don't realize just how important pets are to us. My husband and I are always talking about what a blessing our cat is. They're tiny little creatures crafted by the hands of God just like us. My favorite cat (don't let Punkin' know I said that) got hit by a car after darting out of the front door. R. found him, and buried him before I could see him. His name was Charlie, and every now and then, I still think about him. Fondly, of course. I pray that God will give you peace about this.

Sorry to hear, Tidy. :( When my hammies pass I like to think of them crossing over the rainbow bridge. Miami is there now, along with all my other loved hammies and everyone else's pets. :)

Miami always loved broccoli, and after she died, my mom said, "I hope she has all the broccoli she wants now." I said, "Mom, I'm sure there are fields and fields of broccoli in heaven." And my mom said, "You mean there's broccoli in heaven? Oh no! I'd much rather have chocolate!"
