it's so hard on her
My poor momma. I'm the baby of the family, and I'm moving to Africa. My big sis, her only other daughter, is in the process of moving to Boston. And I think she's finally, really getting "empty nest syndrome". I wish it wasn't so hard on her. She already works so hard. It pains me to see her hurting so much.

Tell your ma, at least you're not getting married and moving to Lebanon??
... My cousin was engaged to a guy from Lebanon and her ma was scared half to death that he'd take her over there and have her as "property", never to be seen again. Now they've broken up.

Remember all those girls you read about in the news? The teenagers who meet some guy in Lebanon, fall in love (via the internet), steal their parents' credit card, and run away so that they can fly to Lebanon and get married. Weirdos.
