babies

My friend is super awesome at scrapbooking, and her sister in law is pregnant again. She's kinda irritated, though, because this baby is supposed to be a boy and will be her first nephew, so she has to stock up on "boy" scrapbooking stuff- like blue paper and so on. She's good at finding good deals though, so I'm sure she will find all kinds of paper and punches and baby announcements and so on.

car insurance

I am so glad that I have a good car insurance company and don't have to shop around for auto insurance quotes. Finding insurance is such a hassle anymore. Insurance companies can be good or bad in so many ways, and it's like solving a jigsaw puzzle to find one that is really good. Plus even after you find a good one, you have to find one that is affordable and a good price. It's crazy.

guy stuff

My uncle has got to be the person in our family who is most interested in "testosterone" sports- like watching NASCAR, and participating in mountain climbing and fishing and stuff. He's pretty good at fishing, too. He has a moped and a truck, and he's getting into outfitting them with Mopar parts. But it's also neat that he can fix just about everything. He's very good at figuring out how the parts go and how to make stuff work.

exercise

I went to the gym again today. I've begun to almost enjoy working out, which is good, since it will work faster and better than any weight loss pills. But it is still slow and requires effort, which can be annoying when you want to drop a few pounds or drop a dress size. But, oh well- I do feel good after I work out. I sleep better and I'm healthier. And that's nice.

christmas shopping

Christmas shopping is such a challenge for me. All my friends and family, all of the people I give gifts to, have everything they need. They want for nothing. So it's a challenge to find gifts for them. I search everything and everywhere, from random things on Ebay, to all kinds of electronics, to Samsonite luggage- you name it. Thankfully, I'm almost done. It's what I go through every year- but I love it, and Christmas is such a fun holiday that it's worth it!
