Last night I was watching an episode of "The Big Bang Theory". As an aside - much as I dislike their occasional focus on evolutionary beliefs, that show is hilarious. As a loud and proud nerd, I appreciate the nerd humor! Anyway, it was the episode where Howard is playing a song for Bernadette on a top korg kronos at the Cheesecake Factory. Funny! Kudos to the writers for proving that nerds CAN be musical!

cigars? insanity!

I read this morning that a cigar company has introduced a Dale Earnhardt Jr. stogie. Seriously? I admit, I don't understand people who are big fans of Nascar-type sports, and I have never understood people who like to smoke flavored cigars or anything nicotine related. Combining the two is just, like... insanity!!!

christmas gifts

My dad is hard to shop for. With Christmas coming up, I'm searching all over for something I can buy him. I refuse to buy him some kind of trinket that he would set on a shelf and never use - I'm all about finding functional gifts. I may just need to find custom koozies or something like that!
