The weather is definitely getting colder around here. Winter is on its way. I'm not a big fan of cold or winter, but as long as I get a thick coat and a warm pair of UGG Boots, I can deal with it. It looks like it is going to be a cold winter this year. But at least winter is always followed by spring. The weather warms up and everything will be reborn. We just have to wait for it...

home lighting

Sometimes I think we really need to replace our home lighting. It's not bad, but it's getting old, and some of the chandeliers are really showing their age. Plus, we have at least a couple of lighting globes that have broken and shattered, and we've never been able to match the globes so we never replaced them. Replacing the lighting would be a big job and might even cost a lot of money, but I wonder if it would really improve the lighting of our home.

dentists

I knew a fantastic Washington DC dentist back when I lived on the ship. We had several dentists, including at least a couple from Texas, a dentist from Australia, and a few from the UK, since dental work is such a common problem in third world countries and such an easy problem to fix. We also had several optomotrists, opthamalogists, and other eye care professionals doing vision work. It's amazing how liberating a single pair of eye glasses can be. Plus of course there were doctors and surgeons who provided more in depth surgical assistance.

hdmi splitter

My VCR is broken. Again. It's actually a pretty old VCR so it's no surprise that it's broken. Maybe it needs replaced. Or maybe I can just fiddle with the HDMI splitter and get it working again.

My toes are really cold right now. Like really frigid ice cube cold. Winter is definitely here. Poo... I think I prefer summer. And warm toes.

security for wall street

I have this theory. We need to create security systems for Wall Street. We need to create a system that will alert us before the market starts to go down. Imagine it... "Alert! Alert! Potential market collapse at 3pm! Do not sell your stocks at 3pm!" I'm not sure how much it would actually help prevent major falls in the market, but hey, at least it would be a lot of fun.

vegas

After a rough day like today, I'm really thinking about how nice Vegas vacations would be. Vacations are so nice, so relaxing, and I would really enjoy something like that about now! Unfortunately that also requires money, which I don't have at the moment, so I'll keep working until I can afford something like that. But hopefully it won't be long!
